REFERRALS AND PRE-CERTIFICATION
Some insurance plans require us to have a referral from your primary care physician before we can see you for an evaluation, office visit or procedure. The patient is responsible for knowing that a referral or authorization is required, obtaining a valid referral and bringing it to the scheduled appointment. Due to insurance requirements, patients arriving without a valid referral may need to be rescheduled.
CO PAYMENTS, COINSURANCE AND DEDUCTIBLES
Co payments, coinsurance, deductibles and any previous balances are due at check-in. We accept cash, personal checks, Visa, Mastercard and Discover. Patients who anticipate difficulty in paying for medical services are encouraged to contact our billing department at 410-571-2941. Payment plan arrangements will be made prior to the appointment and finalized at check-in.
