Spinal Stenosis

Spinal stenosis occurs in the back/neck (spine) when the space begins to narrow. This leads to pressure placed on the nerves, joints, and discs in the backbone (spinal cord). A condition like spinal stenosis can occur in the upper (cervical), mid (thoracic), or lower (lumbar) spine. While most people suffer chronic pain from spinal stenosis, at the onset many symptoms may go unnoticed. Numbness, weakness, pain or cramping can be felt throughout the back (spine), down limbs, or in the neck. Spinal stenosis can be a result of osteoarthiritis, disc degeneration, and scoliosis.

Our physicians at KURE Pain Management work with many cases of spinal stenosis, allowing you to find pain relief from your symptoms. We offer individualized treatments for every patient, bringing pain to a minimum.
